The Learning Pit
WALA: The Learning Pit
Description: We have been learning about when good learning happens.
Task: Share what you know about the learning pit.
Criteria:
List at least 3 strategies that you could use to get out of the pit.
List 3 things you could say to yourself when you are in the pit.
Evaluation:
Reflect on a time when you have been in the pit. I was making a movie for the divi awards and the green screen wouldn't work, I didn't give up although I was very frustrated and tired.
How did you feel when you were in the pit? Frustrated, when I got out of the pit it was like 20 bricks fell off my back.
What did you do to work out of the pit? Believed in myself by telling myself you can do this you won't give up. Researched techniques.
Feedback/Feedforward:
This is a good poster although you could have used more time to colour it in๐-William
I feel I did great on this all though I could have put more effort into the colouring to make it stand out.

Te Reo Maori
WALT: communicate a message.
Description: We have been participating in 3 different workshops around colour, compositions and fonts. We put these skills to use in a poster sharing our knowledge about Te Reo Maori.
Criteria:
Message: My message is clear and purposeful. Everything that is on my poster relates to my message.
Font: My font is clear, readable and suits the message.
Colour: I have used 2-3 colours that are complementary. My background choice makes the text pop!
Accuracy: All of the words on my poster are spelt correctly.
I think I did really well on this post considering I started late and I worked really hard on it-Liam
Evaluation:
- What are you most proud of and why? The whole poster because it is probably the best I've done, I learnt a lot more about doing posters.
- What challenged you the most and why? Finding the right words and spelling because they were hard to find.
- Next time, what is a goal you can work towards? A bit more colour on my poster might make it stand out more.
Writing Speech
How does the sea play it's part in global warming? Well when the greenhouse gases are released into the air the sea tries absorb it making the water acidic. The heat from the greenhouse gases make the sea hotter making Antarctica melt and the sea levels rise. The ice is freshwater and the sea is salt water so this will melt the ice putting freshwater into oceans which means a lot of salt water animals will perish.
